BIOGRAPHY : INVENTOR

 Marie Curie

Marie Salomea Sklodowska-curie was a physicist and chemist. She is famous because of her work of radiology and she got Noble prizes two times.

Marie Curie was born in Warsawa, Poland 7 November 1867. Her father, wladyslaw, was an mathematic and physic instructor. Her mother, Bronislawa, was a tecaher. She died because of tuberculosis when marie curie was ten years old. Marie Curie was the youngest child of five children. Marie Curie became a smart child with the lot of curiosity, she is the best student in her school.

Marie Curie couldn't get in to the Warsawa University because they just received male students. Marie Curie continued her study in Warsawa floating University, that was a secret underground informal class.

Marie and her sister Bronya, dreamed to continue the study in the another country to get a degree. But, because of her lack of funds, they decided to take turns to study. Marie work to support her sister that studied, and then her sister would support Marie after she graduated. Because of that in the 5 years, marie became a tutor and taught the children in their houses. Marie used her free time to learn about physic, chemistry, and mathematic.

In 1981 Marie Curie could continued her study in Sorbonne University, Paris. When she was in the University, she started to study enthusiastically. she had lacked fund when she study in the University, so everyday she ate bread, buter, and tea. Because of that her health sometimes getting worst. 

at the sorbonne University, she could be more free to have a research and at the end with her skill she could isolate radium in her old laboratory. This was the first time she became popular.

In the sorbonne University she found the love of her live to Pierre Curie. Pierre Curie was a Professor in physic faculy Sorbonne University. They were maried in 26 July 1895. Marie Curie and her husband had a research, and they successfully isolate radium radioactive salts from the mineral pitch blende in their laboratory in paris. In 1898 they  discoverd the existence of the radium and polonium in their research of pitch blende.

Marie visit Poland for the last time in the early 1934. She didn't know about radioactive danger when tried to isolate it. She had a lot of direct contact with it. exaggerated radium radiation rays can give negative Impact for her body, she had anemia. 3 months later 4 july 1934 in Haute Savoie, marie curie died. She die because of radiation poisoning.
